Meet Your Chef

Chef John Fraser is a Michelin-starred Chef and Restaurateur acclaimed for redefining the role of vegetables in American cuisine. Renowned for his European technique, dedication to artisanal products and farm-fresh produce approach, Chef Fraser joins The Millennium Residences at Winthrop Center with an incredible slate of achievements in the culinary world.

  • Studied under Chef Thomas Keller at The French Laundry, Napa Valley
  • Trained in fine dining in Paris at the revered Taillevent and Mason Blanche restaurants
  • Named one of four young chefs to watch by Esquire Magazine

Seasonal menus inspired by our residents

Focusing on local ingredients and sustainable sourcing, Chef Fraser’s kitchen will offer meals for relaxed weeknight dining, special occasions, or large-scale feasts and events. Monthly “departures” will explore different cuisines and cultures year-round, based on the tastes and requests of our residents.

Craft cocktails, creatively imagined

Chef Fraser and his Beverage Director Amy Racine love to experiment, so expect standout riffs on classic cocktails, ever-changing creations inspired by what’s in season, and of course, an exceptional wine list. Amy is an award-winning sommelier, renowned for her work at top restaurants in New York, San Francisco and beyond. Prepare to be dazzled.

Amy Racine is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park and the Accelerated Wine and Beverage Program at the CIA in Napa Valley. Just a few of her accolades include:

Welcome to Winnie’s

Dine on seasonally-inspired dishes prepared with fresh, sustainably-sourced ingredients alongside hand-crafted cocktails and highly coveted wines. A menu is inspired by the whims and tastes of our residents. Upscale dining—alfresco optional—steps from your front door. That’s what you can expect from our exclusive residents-only American brasserie, Winnie’s.

Winnie’s is now open for casual weeknight dining, special occasions, large-scale feasts, and private events.

The restaurant is run by Head Chef Matt Gaudet and Executive Chef John Fraser.
